These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of SolarSave Ltd’s website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

SolarSave Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We are MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certified and specialize in the design, supply, and installation of solar photovoltaic systems.

3. Services

We provide solar panel installation services for residential and commercial properties across the UK. Our services include:

  • Solar system design and consultation
  • Professional installation by MCS-certified technicians
  • System commissioning and testing
  • Ongoing maintenance and support
  • Warranty and guarantee services

4. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change based on site survey findings, equipment availability, and any changes to specifications requested by the customer.

5. Installation Process

Installation dates are scheduled following acceptance of quotation and receipt of deposit. We will provide reasonable notice of installation dates and work with customers to minimize disruption. Access to the property and electrical supply will be required throughout the installation period.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

We provide comprehensive warranties on our installations:

Warranty terms are subject to system purchased, proper system maintenance and normal operating conditions. This will be discussed at the point of sale.

7. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your quotation. Typically, we require:

  • Deposit upon order confirmation
  • Progress payment during installation
  • Final payment upon completion and commissioning

8. Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellation Rights

You have the right to cancel your contract within fourteen (14) days of signing, without giving any reason. This is your statutory cooling-off period under UK consumer protection law.

Charges for Work Completed

  • If no work has commenced: No charges apply
  • If work has started with your written agreement: You may be charged reasonable amounts for:
    • Work completed before cancellation
    • Materials specifically ordered for your installation

Complete cancellation rights, procedures, and a cancellation notice form will be provided with your contract documents at the time of signing. This includes detailed information about:

  • Exact cancellation procedures
  • When cancellation takes effect
  • How refunds are processed
  • Requirements for work to commence before the 14-day period expires

Consumer Rights

This cancellation policy complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
