What cookies are, which ones our website uses, and how to change your choice.
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. Some are needed for a website to work; others, such as analytics cookies, help the owner see how the website is used.
This website doesn’t need any cookies to work. Our fonts and images come from our own website, and there are no adverts, social media plug-ins or embedded videos.
The only cookies we use are analytics cookies, and only if you agree to them.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the website, such as which pages are visited and how people find us, so we can improve it. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used (clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement) and makes heatmaps, with anything you type into our forms hidden. Neither tells us who you are.
Microsoft Clarity may also set its own cookies on Microsoft’s websites (such as CLID and MUID). We tell it not to use them for advertising. See Microsoft’s Clarity cookie list.
We only set these cookies if you click Accept in our cookie banner. If you click Reject, or close the banner, no analytics cookies are set.
We store your answer on your device, so we don’t ask on every page. It’s used for nothing else.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you change to Reject, we delete the analytics cookies. Clearing this website’s cookies and site data in your browser settings works too: the banner will then ask you again.
You can also block Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Our pages link to other websites, such as Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram and the official sources we quote. If you follow a link, those websites may set their own cookies, under their own policies.
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. Look for “Cookies” or “Site data” in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking cookies won’t stop this website from working.
We may update this cookie policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will post any changes on this page.
